How do you know your virtual friend is a troll?

The Internet is an interesting place, but not so confidential and safe. Many people here come to satisfy their own interests, and needs, and to take advantage of someone.

Every woman gets a tone of friend's requests, it doesn't matter how old is she, is pretty or popular. So, if men are chasing you on the internet, don't be pretentious and don't feel special.

Trolls don't have a big standard. They chase all women and pick those who are naive.

How do you know your virtual friend is a troll?

I will help you with a few tips, based on my experience.

Look at his profile and his behavior in the first days since you added him.

Then, answer these questions:

Does he like your every post?

Does he contact you privately?

He sent you messages even though you ignored him?

He talks to you in public and asks you to reply to him after you ignored him privately?

He sent naked women and filthy photos in your inbox?

He asks you for money?

If you answered YES on this question, you have a deal with trolls.

Now, how to get rid of them?

It begins the day you added someone new to your social media. You give a chance to new people, you wish to hang out, promote your books, and get more likes. Whatever your motive is, you need a big friend list, because you need a community, and in this way, you are exposed.

Luckily, you have helpers. The names of those helpers are: delete, restrict, and block.

You can warn this new guy not to disturb you and hope you will get a nice answer. He might apologize and leave you alone. If he answers you how you are rude and your behavior is hurting him, block him immediately.

You don't hurt anyone because they added you. They chose to add you, to follow you and now they complain?

There are expectations to see you naked or to annoy. They think you are hurting them by your rejection.

Now, it is time for simple medicine. Delete and block. Report. Publish in your status. On social media are groups where you can post a screenshot about trolls. Some people will have fun, and you will warn idiots.

Don't be merciful, they don't deserve this. They are not your friends, they are pests. The way you allow someone to treat you talks about you.

In this way, you will give alerts to people to understand you seriously.

Swapping books - a devil's deal

"I will read your book if you read and review mine." This is an example of author's deal when it comes time for reviews. Reviews is hard to get. If you sell books, it is still not guarantee you will get reviews. If I could get a review for every book I sold, it would be great. People will buy book to collect it on the shelves and leave it un-read. Or, they will read but not rate it. Many reasons are for not getting reviews, but some people don't know where and how to write reviews or are not eligible. That is the reason why authors will turn to other authors, with a proposition for review. The danger of such review is on Amazon rules: author can't review other's author books on request. I love to read indie authors and they inspire me, but I have my circle and I never accept offers to read someone I never heard about. Once I got a proposition :" Hey, I saw your review for XX author, can you write it for me, too?" I ignored it. When you have a deal ...
