What happens when you face your problems without other's help?

It will happen that people will leave your life. Circumstances, conflicts, or various interests will change your friend's circle.

In one life period, you will face its problems alone. There is no help and assistance from friends because they have gone.

This situation, however, has some advantages.

Your friends will not give you bad advice.

Your friends will not lecture you.

Your friends will not use your dirty laundry against you.

You will not owe favors to anyone, because they helped you once.

Facing problems alone demands a high level of discipline and concentration.

Those fake people can return later when you gain success. In my example, it looked like this.

Hellen worked voluntarily in the court. Her boss used her and complained about every task she did. After she found another job, she got a message from her ex-boss to help her with some documents. Helen replied: "Excuse me, the wrong number."

Beware of flattering people and those who support you while you are winning.

Why do people leave your side?

When your boat is sinking, nobody wants to be with you. They were afraid of their reputation.

People are not willing to sacrifice themselves.

People are selfish and shallow. It is easy to find friends for parties, but a bunch of them will leave when you face problems.

The principle of reciprocity demands to treat people how they treat you. If your number of friends is getting smaller, remember that one good friend is better than a bunch of fakes.

Swapping books - a devil's deal

"I will read your book if you read and review mine." This is an example of author's deal when it comes time for reviews. Reviews is hard to get. If you sell books, it is still not guarantee you will get reviews. If I could get a review for every book I sold, it would be great. People will buy book to collect it on the shelves and leave it un-read. Or, they will read but not rate it. Many reasons are for not getting reviews, but some people don't know where and how to write reviews or are not eligible. That is the reason why authors will turn to other authors, with a proposition for review. The danger of such review is on Amazon rules: author can't review other's author books on request. I love to read indie authors and they inspire me, but I have my circle and I never accept offers to read someone I never heard about. Once I got a proposition :" Hey, I saw your review for XX author, can you write it for me, too?" I ignored it. When you have a deal ...
