During the lockdown, I wrote a thriller. My emotions were mixed up, and I decided to use my free time for writing.  The Player Without Luck is a story about addiction, remorse, and revenge, all in one.  What would you do if someone would try to destroy your life? How would you protect your job, spouse, and reputation? Silvija is a fatal woman. She is not an example of morals, but she has her principles. Many bad guys are around her, she entered a criminal circle. The only bright spot in her life is Alen, her devoted husband, but she doesn't appreciate him enough. She involves an affair, and that will make things complicated. Circumstances will show, what is real, and what is fake?  Would you choose a dangerous passion or stable family life? Friendship is a kind of relationship. Two people are hanging out, sharing secrets, and keep each other’s back. Their characters are various and they were raised in different surroundings. Yet, they complete each other and enjoy spending time together. Friendship breaks like a relationship. People split, they separate, and the result is, they don’t talk anymore. Sometimes, they don’t greet each other in the street. They start gossip with each other and it is possible that the former friendship turns into an enemy zone.  Now, why this happened? Not that we hate our friends overnight. It is not we pretended liking and affection.  This is something else. Where do you mistake? I will help you with this. The reason why someone should make you feel inferior always exists. The roots could be deep in his personality, in his character, or in competition. If a woman wants to steal your man, she will gossip about you. "She is ugly, stupid, poor, promiscuous." If someone wants to steal your job, he will try to make you humiliated. "He is lazy, unable to do this job, and his skills are zero." If someone denies your talent, he will say that you need help from an expert or minorize your values. There is a quote: You can't bake a cake from shit. That is how is with a man's nature: you can't change a bad personality. If you are hanging out with a man who is primitive, uneducated, and promiscuous, you can't expect to turn him into a noble gentleman.  Women who claim to change a man's personality, lie. They live in illusion because if the change happened, it is not because they did it. Reasons why men change their attitude are: They passed through a bad breakup or divorce. They got old. They feel lonely. They are mature and tired of games and flirting. They fall in love with younger women. When his time comes, a man will do basic things to change his approach to relationships. He could pretend to catch young women, rich women, or get rid of bad habits. Sometimes, this is cruelty: he was using women for sex in the past, now he is acting like a gentle daddy to his child. You wish to kill a nasty one but you don't want to leave her." A woman who can show teeth, to be symbolic, is always an interesting one. Relationships are the battlefield and men are hunters so different attitudes raise sparks. When a man sees a sassy woman, he will be attracted to her. If a woman acts like a servant and a cook, she is not a challenge if she cleans after him. If she gives all the benefits to her partner, he will soon take her for granted.  Roger is a playboy. He jumps from one woman to another one, and never stays too long. After he gets what he wishes he is looking for a new opportunity. The only permanent woman in his life is his friend Alice. She advises him and gives him comfort, but also they are fighting from time to time. Sometimes they don't speak at all. R

If you strive for a better life, you see. Through open eyes, you wish better for yourself. Even circumstances might slow you down, and people stop your progress. Still, your ambitions are alive. Anyone who has lived in a harder way can understand the dream. If you did not have money, you looked at people who spent money on things; they don't need it. Maybe you spared money for basic needs until someone enjoyed in wealthy life. Your urge pushed you to accept jobs you did not dream about. Sometimes you shared your private space with people you did not like. If you were in the dorm, you had a roommate. If you shared an office, you had office mates who were not pleasant always.  A lack of money means a lack of freedom. Also, it means a lack of privacy because if you wish to swim alone; you need a big swimming pool and you can't effort it if you are poor. How your vision will develop, depends on a few things.
