Conversations with people help book sales




Many scammers will advice you about a book marketing, trying to pull your attention. As I am cleaning my inbox from annoying emails, deleting without reading it, I came to the conclusion. These emails have something in common: I did not accept this neither I asked for this.

When it happens I sell the book, it is usually on two ways: doing ads or talking to people. The truth is, nobody wants to feel like a tool for buying books. Respect every reader and talk to them as your time let it. 

To buy a book, people must know you in a way they want to know what they are buying. What kind of product you are selling? 
People like to refer on their lives in your book, so they expect to find a comfort, advice or adrenaline in your books.

What is in your book to makes people feel better?

The fact things can change for better. I write about relationships and my story has a message: don't let someone treat you like a thing. Fight for your status even everything looks lost.

Happy end is not always what you need. Maybe you need a reality check or change of your priorities. "The guy from another league " and "Seduced by illusions" offer a cold shower. The girl will not get a guy, but she set up her priorities.

Exotic locations. If you are get use to read books located in USA, mine are going further. Visit Croatia, Serbia, Italy, Brazil and UK in my books, learn about foreign cultures as Turkish, Algerian, Slavic.

My characters are people you can meet. Some authors describes their characters as handsome guys and beautiful woman, rich and popular. My characters are rebels, they are not all beautiful looks. I don't limit my age to young people. A woman in forties and fifties also have a life with plans with desires, an old man also wants to tell a story.


I prefer to talk to people public when it comes to questions about my book. Also, I know how to recognize fake interests in my messages, when scammers want to set me up links for paid promotions. Not everyone wish your success. While someone wants to rob you for money, others will do everything to downgrade you. 

People want to know for what they will spend money and time. I love visual effect and my books have many video trailers for the audience.

Swapping books - a devil's deal

  "I will read your book if you read and review mine." This is an example of author's deal when it comes time for reviews. Reviews is hard to get. If you sell books, it is still not guarantee you will get reviews. If I could get a review for every book I sold, it would be great. People will buy book to collect it on the shelves and leave it un-read. Or, they will read but not rate it. Many reasons are for not getting reviews, but some people don't know where and how to write reviews or are not eligible. That is the reason why authors will turn to other authors, with a proposition for review. The danger of such review is on Amazon rules: author can't review other's author books on request. I love to read indie authors and they inspire me, but I have my circle and I never accept offers to read someone I never heard about. Every author wants a big circle of readers. One of ways to read ebooks is an application Kindle unlimited.   The number of KENP reads is very important, because pages are base for royalties.   The bigger number of pages is, royalties are larger.
