She simply adjusted her glasses and said in her signature German accent, “Ah, you’ve met Julia.” Since that fateful day, Iwan has had a best friend who shares tales spanning centuries. His love for Paranormal Romance was born, and he has spent years trying to reunite his otherworldly companion with her long-lost family.
When not conjuring up supernatural stories, Iwan is a keen recipe designer. Married to a former chef, he spends countless hours in the kitchen making a mess and perfecting recipes inspired by flavors from around the world. Together, they run two successful cooking blogs, Smoking Chimney and The Cooking Cat, where Iwan’s writing makes every dish sound so delicious, you might find yourself licking the screen.
As for fitness, Iwan exercises his fingers daily—crafting vivid worlds, breathing life into unforgettable characters, and conjuring antagonists so vile, they remind him of his math teacher.
When people ask him, “What’s one thing no one knows about you?” he simply grins and says, “I’m a Scorpio.” Shiver me timbers, that is scary!
To this day, Iwan continues searching for his missing father, Gilbert Ross, a journey that led to his success as a podcaster with a voice described as “keeping listeners on the edge of their seats.” Originally from South Africa, he dreams of moving to Scotland, where he believes his father is waiting for him.
